Please join us virtually on May 21 from 5-6 p.m. for a reading workshop where you’ll learn simple ways to support your child’s reading at home. This workshop is intended for families that have children in Prek-2nd grade and will be facilitated by Keith Petzinger, Director of Elementary Instruction. We’ll talk about phonics and phonemic awareness—how kids learn to hear, say, and connect sounds to letters. You’ll also learn multisensory activities that use sight, sound, touch, and movement to make learning easier and more enjoyable. Everything shared is based on the Science of Reading, which research says is the best way for teaching children to read!
