The Board of Regents and New York State Education Department (NYSED) are seeking input from educators and community members on what a state diploma should signify to ensure educational excellence and equity for every student in New York State. To that end, they have been hosting regional meetings throughout the state to gather input from the public to gather feedback. Educators and leaders from the Monticello Central School District recently attended one such meeting at Ulster BOCES.
An online survey is available for the public to share feedback with the Board of Regents and NYSED. We encourage all staff, students, parents and community members to take this brief survey.
