RJK Middle School student Ivan Pagan going to All-American Bowl

Ivan Pagan, in his football uniformIvan Pagan, a sixth-grade honor student at RJK Middle School, has an exciting winter break awaiting him. For the second year in a row, Ivan has been selected to participate in the National All-American Bowl in New Orleans, Louisiana, from Dec. 27 through 30.

Ivan was selected from thousands of football players from across the country after attending an Offense-Defense Football Camp last summer at Kean University in Union, N.J. He is representing his hometown of Monticello and Sullivan County at the event. Ivan plays in the Pine Bush Youth Football League.

Last year, Ivan was selected for this honor and made the trip to Atlanta, Georgia to participate.

The Offense-Defense All-American Bowl is the culmination of a week’s worth of events. The 12th annual game is just one of many events of the week. It also includes a football game showcasing 88 of the top high school seniors in the country.
