Ethelbert B. Crawford to host free MakerSpace event

June 16, 2017

A message from the Ethelbert B. Crawford library:

A MakerSpace is a DIY space where people can gather to create, invent, and learn. It is a great opportunity to play with new technology, make cool crafts, and get creative.

The Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library will host a MakerSpace event on Tuesday, June 27th from 4-6 p.m. Children and teens ages 8+ will have the opportunity to code we-do robots, build magnaformer robots, learn basic electrical programming with Little Bits, explore the world with VR goggles, and see our 3D printer in action. This is a drop in program, so participants can stop by for a few minutes or stay for the whole two hours.

Our MakerSpace events are free and do not require registration. The Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library is located at 479 Broadway in Monticello. For more information on library programs, check out our calendar of events at, follow the library on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter @ebcplibrary, or call the library at 845-794-4660.
