Upcoming events at Ethelbert B. Crawford library

May 8, 2017

To see a full list of library programs, visit or follow the library on social media @ebcplibrary. The library is located at 479 Broadway, Monticello.

Toddlers and Preschoolers are invited to join us for a great program where kids can free build using a different type of material each month. Duplo blocks, Kapla blocks, magna tiles, squigz, strawbees, cups, boxes—the possibilities are endless. This is a great opportunity for kids to build fine and gross motor skills, social skills, and exercise their creativity too. Ages 2-5 and their grown-ups are welcome.

This is a drop-in program, so feel free to stay for a few minutes, or stay for the whole program. Library programs are free and you do not need to be a resident of Monticello to attend. For more information call 845-794-4660 ext. 5.

Each Saturday at 1 p.m., the library provides family entertainment free of charge. The first Saturday of each month is designated as our Teen Movie week, with the movie rating up to PG-13. Every other Saturday is a family movie with ratings up to PG. Movies are recent releases or relevant to holidays, events, and headlines. Bring some friends and your favorite movie snack and settle in for a great film with us. To find out what movie is playing each week, call the library or play the guessing game on our social media pages.
