Pop Up Pantry provides toiletries to students in need throughout RJK

July 6, 2016

Members of the Sullivan County Aktion Club, Robert J. Kaiser Middle School Backpack Program have assumed roles as leaders for the school’s new Pop Up Pantry, a small “shop” that allows students to get personal supplies they may need for free.

In order to access the pantry, students can approach a teacher, counselor, or administrator and let them know that they need to “shop” the pantry.

Aktion Club President Tommy Abelson and Secretary Evelyn McAdoo recently distributed six large boxes of toiletries to the school on behalf of the club, which is made up of adults with disabilities who are affiliated with SullivanARC, New Hope Community and Center for Discovery.

Residents who would like to donate toiletry items to the Pop Up Pantry can contact
