Teen Volunteers needed at Ethelbert B. Crawford Library

May 31, 2016

The Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library in Monticello is looking for teen volunteers, or volunteens, to help with the summer reading program. This is a unique opportunity to have fun, help your community, and earn community service hours. Volunteens will help with programs, give out summer reading prizes, and more. At the end of the summer, all volunteens will receive a certificate of appreciation, and will be invited to an end-of-summer Volunteen Party.

Teens entering seventh grade and up are eligible to be a volunteen. For more information, potential volunteens MUST attend one of three information sessions:

Wednesday, June 8 from 5:15-6:15
Saturday, June 11 from 11:00-12:00
Friday, June 17 from 3:30-4:30

Applications will be distributed at the information sessions.

For more information on becoming a volunteen, please contact Joanna at 845-794-4660 ext. 8, or by email at The Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library is located at 479 Broadway, Monticello. Visit us on the web at
