Throughout the year, Staff in the Spotlight will shine the light on teachers and staff who do exceptional things
for our students and go above and beyond each and every day.

The spotlight is on Joette LeBlanc!

Joette spotlightThe next Spotlight is focused on Senior Typist Joette LeBlanc. Her title simply doesn't reflect the enormous responsibility placed on Joette's shoulders on a daily basis. Joette works directly for Superintendent of Schools Tammy Mangus, and closely with Supervisor of Special Programs Dana Taylor.

Joette's smile lights up the room; she is known for her tireless work ethic, attention to detail and overall good nature. Even when given the most arduous of tasks, she smiles and gets the job done. She assists Ms. Mangus and Ms. Taylor with administrative duties related to Model Schools, RTI and other programs.

"Joette is just amazing. Her ability to get even the most difficult jobs done with a sense of humor and pleasant manner makes her the perfect example of being 'greater than the average.' We are very lucky here at Monticello to have a colleague who obviously loves what she does, does her job well, and along the way, brightens our days. We need more Joettes in this world!" said Taylor.

Not only does Joette do incredible work, she also serves as coordinator for the Sunshine Fund at the Central Administration building. She helps keep the team tight knit and always, always makes time to wish her colleagues well.

Next time you are in Central Administration, take a minute to stop by and say hi to Joette. She will be ready with a smile!

Congratulations, Joette!

We applaud you for being greater than the average!
