many free activities for all ages taking place during late december and january

The year may be coming to a close, but the library is open for business with great programs coming up. On Tuesday, December 23, come by from 3:00-5:00 p.m. for family game night. Play one of our many board games, or bring your own. Stay warm on the Monday, December 29 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. with a winter craft that will be fun for all ages.

If you’re in grades 7-12 and like to read and compete, join our Battle of the Books team. Come to an information meeting on Friday January 2 or 16 at 5:00 to find out what Battle of the Books is all about. There will be a Teen Maker program on Friday, January 9 at 4:00 p.m. Design and decorate your own mug using markers. There will be a Teen Advisory Group meeting on Wednesday, January 14 at 6:00 p.m. Earn community service and be an important part of the library. Don’t forget our free teen movies, which are the first Saturday of each month at 2:30 p.m.

Storytimes for toddlers will be on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. starting January 5, and preschoolers on Fridays at 10:00 a.m starting January 9. Bilingual Spanish/ English storytimes will be January 8 and 22 at 10:00 a.m. You can also come by every Saturday at 2:30 p.m. stop in to see a movie on our big screen.
