Nesin Cultural Arts will present an “Afternoon of Choral Music” on Sunday, April 6 at 3 p.m. at the Eugene D. Nesin Theater, 22 St. John Street, Monticello. The performance will feature students from the Langley Park School, Beckenham, Kent, England. They will be joined by the Nesin Children’s Chorus directed by Amy Phillips; Eldred Central School District’s “Key Elements” directed by Justin Glodich; Roscoe Central School District’s “Roscapella’s” directed by Rachel Kleinman; and the Monticello High School Chamber Singers directed by Peter Frost.

The suggested donation is $10 for adults. Students are free with an ID. Due to the anticipated response to this event, seats will be limited. It is strongly recommended that tickets be purchased online at or by calling 794-6013. All proceeds from this event will support arts-based programming for local students and surrounding communities.

"Music is alive and thriving in Sullivan County thanks to parents, teachers, schools and communities who believe that the arts are an important and necessary part of a child’s education," said Nesin Cultural Arts founder Ellen Nesin.
