The Monticello High School Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive is in full gear!

HELP US REACH OUR GOAL of providing dinner to 100 sullivan county families

November 22, 2013

We have been collecting monetary donations from students and faculty for over two weeks and still need support to reach our goal. We intend to feed 100 families in need within Sullivan County from the collected donations.

The Thanksgiving Food Drive has been an MHS tradition for more than 40 years and we are proud to continue the tradition of helping our community. Given the economic position our nation, state and community are in, it is imperative to help our fellow neighbors in need. In order to provide 100 food baskets containing the fixings for complete Thanksgiving meals, we need to raise about $3600. With less than a week left we are about half way to our goal.

Donations can be sent to the HS care of Beth Lauri, the Food Drive Advisor. Donations are accepted year round as we build a fund to maintain this activity and the Holiday Toy Drive. Please contact Mrs. Lauri at or 845-794-8840, ext 10213 with any questions.

Thank you for your continued support of this worthy mission. Happy Thanksgiving!
