E.B. Crawford Library seeks people who like to bake (and eat) cookies for inaugural event

A message from the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library:

The Friends of Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library are proud to host the first Holiday Cookie Bake-Off at the library in Monticello on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 5:30 p.m. Bakers of all ages will bring their finest cookies for you to taste. Taste testers and local celebrity judges will vote on the winners in each category. Prizes for the winning bakers and door prizes will be awarded. Cookbooks including recipes for all of the evening’s delicious cookies will be available for purchase. Entry fee is $6 per person and includes 5 tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets will be available for purchase. All proceeds from this event will go to the Friends of EBCPL to help the library continue providing the programming the community needs.
