POSITIONS: Anticipated High School Summer Learning Academy (9-12)

POST DATE: Jan. 10, 2019

POST END DATE: Jan. 24, 2019

TIME OF WORKDAY: Alternating 5/4 day weeks, July 8 – Aug. 14, 2019
8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

START DATE: July 3, 2019, Professional Staff Development Day
An additional 5 hours of professional staff development will be held
after school during the month of June.

LETTER OF INTEREST DEADLINE: Jan. 24, 2019

TERMS: The high school summer learning academy (9-12) is contingent upon student enrollment. Teaching staff is required to report on Aug. 13 and 14 for proctoring. Content area certificated scorers will report on Aug. 13 and 14.

LOCATION: TBD

QUALIFICATIONS: Current and appropriate New York State Certification

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of Social Emotional Learning
  • Belief that all students can succeed
  • Experience with restorative practices
  • Project-based / service-based learning experience-preferred
  • Ability to create a blended learning environment based on individual student need
