Good morning today is Tuesday, November 13, 2018, and it is a “B” day.

Hoby State Leadership Seminar: Attention Sophomores! If you are interested in attending HOBY State Leadership Seminar, please see Mrs. Pisaniello in the guidance office. At this seminar, you will experience 3 to 4 days of life on a university campus, impactful leadership training, meeting new leaders and making new friends.

Honor Society Members: Attention Honor Society members! Cooke and KLR P.T.O. needs help on Friday, November 16 and Wednesday, December 12. You may complete your 12-hours of community service. See the schoology page or Ms. Leyden.

College Visit: Attention seniors and early graduates! The following colleges will be here the rest of the month of November:
Sacred heart University – Today, November 13 at 12:00 p.m.
Farmingdale University – Tomorrow, November 14 at 12:30 p.m.
Onsite Decision for SUNY Orange County Community College – Monday, November 19 at 9:00 a.m.

Ski Trip: Attention students going on this year’s ski trip! The trip is officially been approved. The first payment is due on Friday, November 16. Please stop by room 118 for a permission slip ASAP.

Red Cross Club: The Red Cross Club will be having its meeting on Thursday, November 15 from 2:30-3:30 in room 307at the middle school. Seniors, we need you! Come find out about scholarship opportunities.

LPP Program: The LPP is holding after-school-tutorial and homework help sessions every Monday and Thursday in room 615 until the end of the school year.

Tri M Honor Society: The Tri-M Music Honor Society will meet on Monday, November 19 at 2:30pm in room 700 to discuss Field Trip planning and fundraising. It is a required meeting for all members.

Yearbook: Seniors, who have not yet taken your senior portrait, please see Mrs. Ross or Mr. Mabee in room 200. Senior portrait dates are November 14 -16. This is your last opportunity!

Food Drive: November 9 was an A day. We are getting closer to our goal for 100 local families. The top three homerooms are so close this time that it is merely cents that makes the difference in place.
In third place is Mr. Orlan’s class with $26.36.
In second place is Ms. Alvarez and Ms. Anderson’s class, 22 cents more, with a donation of $26.58.
In first place, squeaking by the competition by 14 cents is Ms. Manzi’s class with about 30 pounds of change, which rolled out to $26.72.
Remember, little by little, a little makes a lot! Keep up the good work, Panthers!

School Newspaper: There will be a meeting after school tomorrow, November 14 for anyone interested in contributing to our school newspaper, The Monti Times. The meeting will be at 2:30 p.m. in room 615. Please see Mr. Billias with all your questions.
