(back)
December 2005

Professional Bicycle stunt rider Chris Poulos is bringing his high-energy show to Monticello High School on Thursday, Dec. 1. Open to all district families, the Family Fun Night show - which features comedy, audience participation, and jaw-dropping extreme stunts tied together with important messages - will begin at 7 p.m.

Sponsored by the RJK Middle School PTA, the show is appropriate for all ages, children through adult.

One of the country's top professional bike riders, Chris Poulos holds numerous titles - including 1991 World Pro Flatland Champion and 1990 and 1991 National Pro Flatland Champion. Chris has competed in over 400 competitions and 10,000 live performances worldwide. Many of his performances have been featured in events promoting the ESPN X-Games and NBC Gravity Games.

He's also appeared in hundreds of television programs, commercials, and magazines worldwide.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Chris has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education, and a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Most importantly, Chris has the ability and experience to educate as he entertains.

Tickets for his Dec. 1 Family Fun Night Show at Monticello High School will be available at the door. Admission is $1 for all students. An adult must accompany ALL students. Adults will be admitted free that evening. Refreshments and Chris Poulos souvenirs will be available for sale. For more information on the show, contact the RJK Middle School at 796-3058.

In addition to the Family Fun Night performance, Chris Poulos will present two assemblies at RJK Middle School Dec. 1. The assemblies - which are part of the school's Spirit Week - will focus on anti-bullying, respect and responsibility.
