Siegel-Lerner appointed High School principal
Arleene Siegel-Lerner, assistant principal at Monticello High
School, was appointed June 20 by the Board of Education to serve
as the new High School principal.
A 1972 graduate of Monticello High School, Siegel-Lerner went on
to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College. She also
holds a Master of Arts degree from Bowling Green State
University, a M.S.W. degree from Fordham University, and a
Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Administration
from SUNY at New Paltz.
Siegel-Lerner has served as assistant principal at Monticello
High School since 1999. She resides in Rock Hill. Both of her
sons graduated from Monticello High School. Jacob Lerner, MHS
Class of 2000, is a graduate of Brandeis University. Her
youngest, Joseph Lerner, MHS Class of 2003, currently attends
attending Ithaca College.
