Information
on Monticello School/Community Advocates
One goal of the Monticello
School/Community Advocates is to encourage
communication and cooperation between parents and the Monticello
Central
School District in an effort to support and improve the quality
of the academic
lives of all students. Our membership represents a cross section
of the Monticello
Central School District community with people from diverse
backgrounds who
share a common bond. We are advocates for all children in our
school district,
Kindergarten through Grade 12!
The Monticello School/Community Advocates meet the first Monday
of the
month at the Robert J. Kaiser Middle School Cafeteria at 7:30 p.m.
If there is a
Monday holiday, inclement weather or after-school activities are
cancelled,
we will meet the following Monday.
While we strongly encourage your
attendance at our monthly meetings,
we understand that this may be difficult for some people.
With that in mind,
we invite you to join our MSCA e-mail group. We will keep you
up-to-date on
issues that are of interest to you and your child, and tell you
about upcoming
programs, as well as ask for your “virtual assistance” when
needed.
To join our e-mail list, you can
send us a message at
mscadvocates1@yahoo.com.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Ellen
Nesin at 794-6013.
We look forward to your participation.
