High school garden grows and flourishes

June 29, 2018

You may have noticed how pretty the small garden in front of Monticello High School is. That is thanks to an effort by Michael Regan and some members of the group, My Brother’s Keeper (MBK).High school student pouring mulch in a small garden in front of the Monticello High School sign

Debbie Edwards and the Supportive Learning Environment (SLE) students began this beautification project a long time ago. Regan and the MBK members jumped in to continue the work. They recently weeded, planted flowers and mulched the area with supplies from Edwards. It was a positive experience for the group and the district certainly benefited from the beautiful garden.
