Chase students create hand-made holiday cards

Jan. 9, 2017

chase students work on veterans cardsBefore the December break, students at the Emma C. Chase School were busy creating hand-made holiday cards and ornaments for veterans near and far. The students wanted to brighten the lives of the veterans during this festive time. Some of the cards and ornaments were sent to an Army base in Oklahoma, while others were hand delivered to the Monticello Elks, post 1544. The cards were made in Art classes under the direction of Ms. Kilgore, and the ornaments were created during Mrs. Swensen’s SEW classes.
