Liberty Partnerships Program accepting applications for summer program

Greater than average symbolHigh school students interested in the Liberty Partnerships Program four-week summer program on the campus of SUNY Sullivan may apply now. The program runs from July 9 to Aug. 7, from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Students choose to participate for one week or all four. Busing is provided from specified school district locations. Planned activities include a computer science gaming camp, campus job shadowing, SAT prep, career exploration, plus sports recreation and arts activities.

Students will be offered scholarships to attend college level courses with extra tutoring support if they commit to all four weeks.

The Liberty Partnerships Program is designed to promote successful graduation, college readiness and career development among eligible students who need some additional assistance to help them meet their goals.

LPP meets three times a week in Monticello High School on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays immediately after school.
