Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library to offer free Maker Space activities

Feb. 3, 2017

A Maker Space is a "Do It Yourself" space where people can gather to create, invent, and learn. It’s a great opportunity to play with gadgets, make cool crafts, and get creative.

The Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library in Monticello will host a Maker Space event on Thursday, February 16, from 4:00-6:00. Children and teens ages 10-18 will have the opportunity to build with Legos, find out what Squigz are, see our 3D printer at work, and more. Participants can stop by for a few minutes, or stay the whole time.

This event is free and does not require registration. The Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library is located at 479 Broadway in Monticello. For more information on library programs, visit www.ebcrawfordlibrary.org, follow the library on social media @ebcplibrary, or call the library at 845-794-4660.
