Grab your hat and read with the cat on March 2 at KLR

Feb. 14, 2017

Those who are six, sixteen, sixty-four, and more have all kinds of great events in store for the National Education Association's annual observance of Read Across America. The National Education Association is calling America's children, both young and old, to reward their learning by celebrating the joys of reading on Dr. Seuss's birthday. Readers of all ages are encouraged to celebrate with this year's book Oh, the Places You'll Go!

Our reading party here at Kenneth L. Rutherford Elementary School will take place on March 2 from 5:30-6:45 p.m. Please mark your calendars now for Rutherford’s Family Literacy Night. Our Winners of Women Innovators in a STEM-field Writing Contest will be presenting their pieces/products at the event as well.
