Crawford Library to offer free elementary tutoring beginning Jan. 18

Jan. 4, 2016

The Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library will begin a free tutoring program for students in grades K-5. The first session will be on Wednesday, Jan. 18, from 4-5 p.m.

Each week, tutoring on different subjects will be offered. The first three weeks will be math (Jan. 18), science (Jan. 25) and an open homework session (Feb. 1). Students who are interested in signing up must do so by the Friday before the session they would like to attend. Students need to bring something to work on to the tutoring sessions.

This is a volunteer run program. For more information or to register, call the library at 845-794-4660 ext. 5. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer tutor, please contact Joanna at 845-794-4660 ext. 8.
