Free Makesrpace activities for children and teens at Crawford Library Dec. 29

Dec. 20, 2016

A Makerspace is a do-it-yourself space where people can gather to create, invent, and learn. It’s a great opportunity to play with gadgets, make cool crafts, and get creative.

The Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library in Monticello will host a Makerspace event on Thursday, Dec. 29, from 2-4 p.m. Children and teens ages 10-18 will have the opportunity to build with Legos, find out what Squigz are, see our 3D printer at work, and more. Participants can stop by for a few minutes, or stay the whole time.

This event is free and does not require registration. The Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library is located at 479 Broadway in Monticello. For more information on library programs, visit www.ebcrawfordlibrary.org, follow the library on social media @ebcplibrary, or call the library at 845-794-4660.
