Seniors attend second annual "lock-in"

June 10, 2016a MHS senior enjoys the second annual lock in party

On Friday, June 3, approximately 75 seniors from Monticello High School enjoyed the school’s second annual lock-in, a drug-and-alcohol-free graduation celebration held at Holiday Mountain.

Students enjoyed go-karts, bumper boats, batting cages, golf, arcade games and raffles.

The event was organized by the Monticello High School Student Council and many clubs were also involved in the sponsorship.

"I want to thank all of the donors, particularly Jeanine Nielson, for securing the funds to ensure that our graduating students had a fun and safe night to celebrate their many accomplishments," Student Council Advisor, Mary Ellen Hurley said.

Student Council is excited to host this event again next year.
