MCSD to host "Educators as Physicians: Using RTI Data for Effective Decision-Making" training

On Monday, August 15, Monticello Central School District, in collaboration with McGraw-Hill Education, will host an “Educators as Physicians: Using RTI Data for Effective Decision-Making” training, featuring Jan Hasbrouck, Ph.D.

Dr. Hasbrouck’s no-nonsense and powerful approach helps teachers understand how to best develop students’ skills. Teachers will walk away from the training with the ability to better plan interventions, better apply RTI expectations and ensure strong growth for their students. Full RTI, site-based teams, and grade level teams are encouraged to attend together and teams may reserve space in the afternoon for continued collaborative planning. Please email Joette, jleblanc@k12mcsd.net, with your request and team size.

The fee for the event is $10 and includes brunch

  • Registration and brunch buffet served from 8:30 to 9:00.
  •  Keynote session from 9:00-10:15
  • 10:30 – 11:30 action-based breakout groups with a full-group round-up from 11:30 to 12:00.

The session will offer action ready steps for your classroom for the coming school year and will enhance your new-year planning.
