Key Club attends Kiwanis Family Walk for Hunger

On April 16, Key Club members participated in the Kiwanis Family Walk for Hunger commencing at the Mountaindale Fire House. In preparation, the Key Club placed baskets in the main and guidance offices to assist in the collection of non-perishable food items. Key Club members also participated in the Shoprite Collection Day, gathering lots of food items and monetary donations to further support the Walk for Hunger. The efforts of this important event collected huge amounts of food as well as $550. The occasion contributes to the quest of the United Way of Sullivan County and the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley to alleviate hunger in the Sullivan County region.
