"Congratulations to the Monti High students who participated in the county wide art show. I don't remember receiving so many awards for our students at the county wide art show. This certainly has been an exceptional year for our kids," said art teacher Jay Brooks. "There is an incredible amount of talent in our community. I believe there is a bright future ahead in the arts for Monticello!"

The Monticello High School Art Department aims to provide a public platform for the range and beauty of student work, to promote an artistic community of peers and professionals and to celebrate the importance of art in education and to reinforce the power of art in its students’.

We encourage all residents to stop by the exhibit to enjoy the quality work of our student-artists.
