Ben Ulrich, Camryn Johnson named OCIAA Scholar-Athletes of the Year

Monticello High School seniors Ben Ulrich and Camryn Johnson were selected OCIAA Scholar-Athletes of the Year for Monticello Central School District by the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association (OCIAA).

One male and one female student-athlete from each OCIAA member school is honored during the annual scholar-athlete breakfast for their accomplishments both on and off the field. Honorees must be in the top 10 percent of their class and excel in athletics.

Ben Ulrich participates in football, wrestling and tennis. He is a member of the school’s National Honor Society and Academy of Finance. He has a 91 GPA and will major in Physical Therapy and continue to wrestle at SUNY Buffalo.

Camryn Johnson is a member of the cross country and track teams. She participates in the school’s National Honor Society, Student Government and is also the Class of 2016 Vice President.
