June 2, 2015

Monticello High School’s Tri-M National Music Honor Society (advised by David Chidsey) and National Dance Honor Society (advised by Karissa Mollicone) chapters had the opportunity this past week to visit Manhattan, NY for a field trip to see the Blue Man Group perform and attend a question and answer session with one of the performers. The honor societies fundraised for the field trip during the 2014-15 school year by hosting the Monti-Idol competition and the Do You Think You Can Dance? competition amongst other fundraising activities.

During the question and answer session, the students asked one of the Blue Men about his career path and the audition process for getting into the Blue Man Group, as well as other questions pertaining to choosing a career in the performing arts.
