Guest speaker inspires kindness in first grade classes

April 29, 2015

Earlier this month, Barbie Neumann Marty visited the first grade classes to talk about the importance of charity and giving to those in need.

Mrs. Neumann Marty spent the talking to students about greeting each day with positivity, helping others and other topics they have been reading and learning about in class.

Mrs. Neumann Marty is an active member of “A Friend in Need”, a local group that coordinates and provides donations for Sullivan County residents in need.

She also runs the local chapter of The Boys and Girls Club. She also shared information about upcoming FREE activities that they could participate in at the Ted Stroebele Recreation Building in Monticello.
