Students earn a principal taxi ride to lunch

"driven" students win reward as big sellers during fall fundraiser

November 6, 2014

Cooke-Rutherford PTO has recently completed its fall fundraiser. Items were available to purchase from the Believe Catalog and will be delivered in November. The PTO is actively trying to increase participation in all fundraisers as this money is used to buy agendas, sponsor assemblies and host many nightly events throughout the year.

EVERY student who sold 10 items was the winner of a PRINCIPAL TAXI RIDE. KLR Principal, Mrs. Patterson and Assistant Principal Mr. Murphy used their own chairs to push the winners either to lunch or back from lunch while wearing a special taxi t-shirt. The children had great fun. Twenty six students at KLR won this prize. The PTO believes sales did increase due to this incentive and wants to extend a very big THANK YOU to our administrators for taking part in this fun event.
