MHS Students Enjoy Annual Weekend Ski Trip

thirty-five students ski stratton mountain

February 11, 2014

Thirty-five Monticello High School students hit the slopes at Stratton Mountain in Vermont on February 7-9. The annual weekend ski trip is organized each year by Monticello High School Assistant Principal Virginia Morse. Students must be academically eligible to participate.

Ms. Morse says her goal is  "to make sure the students have an opportunity to ski four different mountains by the time they graduate." Based on past trips, this seems like an attainable goal! In recent years students have enjoyed skiing at several Vermont resorts, including Sugarbush, Killington, Stratton and Okemo (twice), and Mt. Snow.
