New School Lunch Manager Appointed: Chef Andrew Yeomans

Andrew Yeomans with Denise Cedeira-ThorntonAt its August 9 meeting, the Monticello Central School District Board of Education appointed Andrew Yeomans as the new School Lunch Manager at a salary of $62,000 beginning August 20, 2012.

Chef Yeomans has more than 20 years experience as a chef and restaurant manager and is renowned for his creativity in the kitchen. In his last position as the executive chef of the Nugget Bar and Restaurant in Monticello, he redesigned the menu with tasteful food options that resulted in a 200 percent increase in sales.

“Throughout my career, I have focused on making establishments more productive and self-sustaining,” said Chef Yeomans. “I look forward to working with the Monticello food service staff to effectively serve the needs of our student population while providing them with healthy, delicious menu selections.”

Chef Yeomans is a graduate of Monticello High School, Class of 1989. He lives in Monticello with his wife, Janice, and their four daughters Kayleigh, Morgan, Andie and Lorelei.
