Third graders learn about habitats

Third grade students in Elyssa Ihlefeldt's class at Cooke Elementary School recently completed informational animal reports as well as habitat dioramas. After completing their written reports and dioramas, they presented their projects to their classmates, teachers, staff and parents.

The students became experts on their chosen animal and reported about their physical characteristics, behaviors, habitat, reproduction, diet and even fun facts and vocabulary words. Students also learned important strategies to help them present what they learned to others.
