Cooke School conducts successful coat drive

Cooke students with coatsThe Kiwanis Club of Monticello recently donated $250 toward the purchase of warm coats that will be distributed to boys and girls attending the George L. Cooke Elementary School.

 A total of $600 was collected for this project thanks to the support of various community agencies and individuals. The coat drive was organized by Jane Sorensen, Program Coordinator for EPIC (Every Person Influences Children).
