New Math Resource Center opens at CookeFaculty at the new Math Resource Center

Teachers at the Cooke Elementary School celebrated the grand opening of the new Math Resource Center on Friday, January 4. Helene Perlman, Academic Intervention Services Math Teacher, created the lending library in order to encourage teachers to check out manipulates games, books and other materials to support instruction in their classroom.

Ryan Speer, Academic Intervention Services Math Teacher, and Jane Sorensen, EPIC Coordinator, helped assemble the center. Sorensen also planned its grand opening. The teachers who attended responded very positively and immediately began checking out materials.
