Chase Elementary School hosts Winter Concert

December 11, 2012

This year’s festive event included singers from all grade levels, dancers and drummers.

The repertoire spanned from an African folk song, to a version of “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” sung by the kindergarteners in French and English to the Silver and Gold Recorders playing songs dating back to the 1500s.

As a special treat, Chase Principal Bill Frandino accompanied the Grade 4 chorus on guitar for a snazzy version of Jingles Bells.

Parents and staff packed the Chase multipurpose room and were delighted by the display of talent.

The concert was directed by music teacher Rebecca Perlman.
