KLR teachers utilize centers for hands-on learningKLR students learn during center time

October 24, 2012

During center time, teachers have the opportunity to work with students individually or in small groups.

Centers are used by teachers to give students many opportunities to practice new skills. Centers foster group work and cooperation while making students responsible for their learning.

This individual or small group time allows students to explore new concepts through hands-on activities.

Center time is a fun, yet productive way for children to practice the new things they are learning.
