Monticello Schools Receives Multiple National Communications Awards

Communications specialist Renata Gittler was recently honored with multiple national awards for her communications and public relations work for the Renata GittlerMonticello Central School District.

Ms. Gittler received a 2011 Golden Achievement Award, one of the top honors bestowed by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), for her work on the “Celebrating Culture and Diversity in the Monticello Central School District” initiative. This award acknowledges successful public relations campaigns that demonstrate outstanding achievement and leadership in school communication.

“It is always an honor to be recognized on such a highly competitive level,” said Ms. Gittler, who is employed by Capital Region BOCES and subcontracted by Monticello Schools. “I put my heart and soul into my work. I feel very flattered and grateful for all the attention.”
