National Junior Honor Society walks 5K, hosts achievement night

National Junior Honor Society membersThe members of the National Junior Honor Society at the Robert J. Kaiser Middle School recently participated in two events. A group of members, with their advisors, walked the 5k for the Allyson Whitney Foundation in Kauneonga Lake on Mother's Day weekend.

Those who participated included Cameron Depew and his mom, Roxanne, Paul Ippolito with his sister, Marisa, and mom, Frances, Jaclynn Sorensen with her father, Alan, Alexis Romer with her mom, Christine, Taylor Brudermann with her father, John, and brother, Tyler, Sydney and Camryn Johnson, Allie and Erika Bischert with mom, Christal, and siblings, Lauren Capp, and advisors Karen Deans and Tricia Cahalan.

The members of the National Junior Honor Society also hosted the Middle School Academic Achievement night on May 23 in the Arnold-Packer Hughes National Junior Honor Society membersAuditorium.

Organizers for the event were co-president Makaela Bunce, Riley Lindholm, co-secretary Cristiane Salendo, co-secretary Mackenzie Mitchell, co-vice president Samantha Dorn, Allison Linen, co-president Jonathan Resnick, co-vice president John Beauregard, Timothy Braunstein, Allison Kurthy, co-treasurer Allison Smith and co-treasurer Ciera Moore.
