ESL students learn about animal habitats

April 4, 2012

Students work on their habitat projectFirst grade students in Margie Sweet's ESL class have worked to discover the habitats of a variety of foxes. They researched their adaptations, predators, prey, food sources, and other interesting behaviors.

As part of the project, they also prepared a presentation. Julie Weng, Elsa Brahimaj, and Mahi Patel invited IB Coach Claudia Cordisco to view their projects and listen to their oral presentation. She was very impressed with their knowledge of the different species of fox and their public speaking ability.
