Cooke students deliver Valentines to VeteransStudents with veterans and their homemade valentines

February 7, 2012

On February 3, students in Kelly Mitchell and Amy Garrett's third grade classes traveled to the Sullivan County Government Center to visit The Veteran’s Agency Office, where they delivered 100 Valentines for Veterans.

This was a meaningful and heartfelt IB Outreach Project all about caring and being reflective learners.

Our students hope that their creations brightened the day of a Veteran. It was their way of saying thank you for their service to our country.
