Fifth grade choral students join Chorus Prism Concert
The Monticello Central School District’s Fifth Grade Chorus, Sixth Grade Chorus and High School Chamber Singers have been diligently preparing for the Winter Choral Prism Concert to be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, December 19 in the Arnold Packer Hughes Auditorium at Monticello High School.
This is the premier performance for our Fifth Grade All-District Chorus, comprised of students from the Cooke School, Kenneth L. Rutherford School and the Emma C. Chase School. We are very excited to provide this new opportunity for the Fifth Grade Morning Music Program.
The Monticello High School Chamber Singers is comprised of 25 students selected from our 80 voice Concert Choir. These select singers have shown excellence in their singing technique as well as in their musicianship. They will sing selections from their winter concert. The Monticello High School Chamber Singers are under the direction of Peter Frost.
Please note the TIME CHANGE from the calendar - the concert will begin promptly at 7 p.m., not 7:30 p.m. as stated in the calendar.
