President Alyce Van Etten called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.

C Student Board Member Joseph D’Abbraccio gave a report on student
activities.

RJK MIDDLE SCHOOL REPORT CARD
D1 Ms. Deborah Wood, Principal gave the RJK Middle School Report
Card Presentation.
ART DEPARTMENT PRESENTATION D2 Mrs. Brenda Sywalski, Head Art
Teacher, gave a report on the Art Department.

Upon motion by Robert Rosengard, seconded by Susan Horton, the Board
of Education approved the minutes of April 25, 2006, April 27, 2006
and May 4, 2006 as corrected.
OLD BUSINESS F1 There was no old business.
PERSONNEL F2a

Upon motion by Vivian Liff, seconded by Richard Feller,
the Board of Education, upon the recommendation of the
Superintendent of Schools, approved the following personnel items:
APPOINTMENTS Resolved, that the Board of Education of the Monticello
Central School District, pursuant to Section 3012 of the Education
Law and in compliance with Part 30.3 of the Rules of the Board of
Regents, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools,
does hereby appoint Donavan Genas to a probationary position in the
Academic Tenure Area – Math, effective September 1, 2006 to
September 1, 2008, at a salary of $44,723, replacing Harold Johnson.
Resolved, that the Board of Education of the Monticello Central
School District, pursuant to Section 3012 of the Education Law and
in compliance with Part 30.3 of the Rules of the Board of Regents,
upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, does
hereby appoint Jessiafaye Rittacco to a probationary position in the
Special Subject Tenure Area – Education of Children with
Handicapping Conditions, effective September 1, 2006 to September 1,
2008, at a salary of $45,691, replacing Dorothy Stanton.
RESIGNATIONS Mrs. Colleen Cooke, Rutherford School Elementary
Teacher, wishes to resign effective June 30, 2007, for the purpose
of retirement. Mrs. Cooke is entitled to all benefits of the
Monticello Teachers’ Association/Monticello Central School District
Negotiated Agreement for which she is eligible.
Mrs. Danielle Mack, RJK Middle School Mathematics Teacher, wishes to
resign effective July 1, 2007, for the purpose of retirement. Mrs.
Mack is entitled to all benefits of the Monticello Teachers’
Association/Monticello Central School District Negotiated Agreement
for which she is eligible.
Mrs. Erin Mentnech, Rutherford School Elementary Teacher, wishes to
resign effective June 30, 2006.
Mrs. Lillian M. Tighe, Coordinator of Foreign Language 6-12, wishes
to resign from this position effective June 30, 2006.

Upon motion by Robert Stewart, seconded by Robert Rosengard, the
Board approved the attached CSE Services.

Upon motion by Vivian Liff , seconded by Eugene Nesin, the Board
approved the attached CPSE Services.

EXECUTIVE SESSION 8:0 Upon motion by Jacob Billig, seconded by John
Pavese, the Board went into Executive Session at 9:33 P.M. to
discuss personnel.
8:0 Upon motion by Robert Stewart, seconded by Vivian Liff, the
Board returned to regular session at 9:59 P.M.
