PRIVATE SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION

3:5 Upon motion by Robert Stewart, seconded by Eugene Nesin, the
Board did not approve the previous private school transportation request to Harmony Christian School.

8:0 Upon motion by Susan Horton, seconded by Alyce VanEtten, the Board approved the following personnel items:
CHILD CARE LEAVES Mrs. Karen Escobar, Special Education Teacher at the Cooke School, requests a child care leave effective February 16, 2005 to June 28, 2005. Mrs. Escobar is entitled to use up to 40 days of her accumulated sick leave for this child care leave.
Mrs. Ann Marie Kurthy, Reading Teacher at Cooke School, re-quests a child care leave effective January 1, 2005. Mrs. Kurthy is entitled to use up to 40 days of her accumulated sick leave for this child care leave.
APPOINTMENTS Resolved, that the Board of Education of the Monticello Central School District, pursuant to Section 3012 of the Education law and in compliance with Part 30.3 of the Rules of the Board of Regents, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, does hereby appoint Mattie Rivera to the position of Food Service Helper at a salary of $9.03 per hour for six hours per day and 185 days per year, prorated, for a probationary pe-riod of 45 days with benefits as per the cafeteria contract, re-placing Priscilla Davall, to be effective September 8, 2004.
Resolved, that the Board of Education of the Monticello Central School District, pursuant to Section 3012 of the Education Law and in compliance with Part 30.3 of the Rules of the Board of Regents, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools does hereby appoint Nancy Hadley to the position of Food Service Helper at a salary of $9.03 per hour for six hours per day and185 days per year, prorated, for a probationary pe-riod of 45 days with benefits as per the cafeteria contract, re-placing Nellie Broskin, to be effective September 8, 2004.
Resolved, that the Board of Education of the Monticello Central School District, pursuant to Section 3012 of the Education Law and in compliance with Part 30.3 of the Rules of the Board of Regents, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, does hereby appoint Kari Price to the position of Aide for student with special physical needs, at a salary of $7.81 per hour for 6.5 hours per day and 185 days per year, prorated, for a probationary period of 60 work days with benefits as per the teacher aide contract, replacing Jade Bradley, to be effective October 6, 2004.
Resolved, that the Board of Education of the Monticello Central School District, pursuant to Section 3012 of the Education Law and in compliance with Part 30.3 of the Rules of the Board of Regents, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, does hereby appoint Marilyn Kaminski to the position of Teacher Aide at a salary of $7.31 per hour for six hours per day and 185 days per year, prorated, for a probationary period of 60 work days with benefits as per the teacher aide contract, re-placing transferred employee, to be effective October 4, 2004.
Resolved, that the Board of Education of the Monticello Central School District, pursuant to Section 3012 of the Education Law and in compliance with Part 30.3 of the Rules of the Board of Regents, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, does hereby appoint Renette Bouchard to the position of Special Education Aide at a salary of $7.50 per hour for 6.5 hours per day and 185 days per year, prorated, with benefits as per the teacher aide contract, new position, to be effective Sep-tember 7, 2004. *Probationary period served as a teacher aide would apply.
RESIGNATION Shawna Laurel resigned from the High School Hall Monitor po-sition effective September 28, 2004.

8:0 Upon motion by Eugene Nesin, seconded by Robert Rosengard, the Board of Education approved the attached CPSE place-ments.
ACCEPTANCE OF GIFT E2d
8:0 Upon motion by Vivian Liff, seconded by Alyce VanEtten, the Board of Education accepted a Baldwin upright piano donated by community member Steve Ganzell.
CAFETERIA TRUCK PURCHASE
E2e No action was taken.
CORRECTION OF TAX ERROR E2f
8:0 Upon motion by Alyce VanEtten, seconded by Susan Horton, the Board of Education approved the correction of the attached tax error.
APPROVAL OF PRIVATE SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION REQUEST E2g
8:0 Upon motion by Susan Horton, seconded by Robert Rosengard, the Board of Education approved the transportation request for a new resident to John S. Burke High School with no additional cost.
8:0 Upon motion by Eugene Nesin, seconded by Alyce VanEtten, the Board of Education approved the transportation request for a new resident to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel with no additional cost.
8:0 Upon motion by Jacob Billig, seconded by Robert Rosengard, the Board of Education approved the transportation request for two new residents to St. Peter’s Regional School with no additional cost.
