Two Members Retire from the Board of Education

At the June 16 Board of Education meeting, Monticello school board members Tara Buckstad-Russo and Liza Glick each received a plaque and a heartfelt thank you for their years of service to the district. Both women retired from the Board after six years of service.
Also honored that evening were Monticello High School graduating senior and BOE student representative Taylor Reardon, retiring support staff member (22 years) Barbara Gore and Assistant Superintendent for Business and Support Services Gladys Baxter (14 years).
Board of Education President Susan Purcell and Interim Superintendent of Schools Edward Rhine oversaw the small ceremony.
