Mission statement - George L. Cooke Elementary School

Our mission is to create an environment, which gives all children the opportunity to achieve their fullest personal and academic potential.

All students should have the opportunity to achieve their potential in a safe, caring environment. We believe that good schools are child centered.

Cooke staff members will:

1. Provide a quality instructional program for each student.

2. Provide a safe school environment.

3. Provide programs and activities that respond to the developmental needs of each student.

4. Help children in developing discipline, respect, and self-confidence in order to participate in school as responsible members.
