Monticello School District Receives Statewide Recognition for Quality Communications

Communications specialist Renata Gittler, on behalf of the Monticello Central School District, was recognized for exceptional achievement in educational communications by the New York School Public Relations Association (NYSPRA).

For the second year in a row, Ms. Gittler secured two awards – one for the district newsletters and one for the annual calendar. She accepted the awards in late October at NYSPRA’s luncheon, which is held annually in New York City in conjunction with the New York State School Boards Association convention.

The NYSPRA awards provide an opportunity to highlight the outstanding work performed by school communications professionals who support student achievement and school improvement initiatives through effective communications.
