Students honor the principles of Martin Luther King Jr.
Several
fifth grade students at Chase Elementary School participated in
the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Fine Arts & Essay Display in
Albany. Our students submitted original artwork illustrating Dr.
King’s Six Principles and Steps of Nonviolence. The artwork is
currently on display until the end of February at the Empire
State Plaza in the South Concourse.
This program is to commemorate the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., to celebrate his birthday, and to continue promote his principles and teachings with regards to nonviolence.
The Empire State Plaza is open to the public seven days a week from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
